First winner of the '
Melina Mercouri Theater Award' for her performances in the title role of Venetia in the play "Bella Venezia" by
George Dialegmenos at the Theatre Odou Kykladon (Kyklades St Theatre) and as Ismene in "Antigone" by
Sophocles at the ancient theatre of Epidaurus at the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, both directed by
Lefteris Voyatzis. The award was established in 2007 by the Melina Mercouri Foundation, and it is conferred annually for best performance to a young actress distinguished in the preceding theatre season.
