Sai Lang grew up on the east coast. Her grandmother was a celebrated actress in India that introduced her to the world of Tollywood. Sai was the young lead in two Tollywood films before returning to the US to continue acting. She started improvising and writing sketch at the UCB Theatre as an in-house performer. She co-founded the first all-South Asian sketch team The Get Brown, who has two projects in development for TV. She was a cast member and wrote for the 2020 CBS Showcase and is a Consulting Producer for their 2023 showcase.
