Miguel García Moreno (1989) is a Spanish creator and screenwriter who lives in Mexico. With extensive training in screenwriting and a master's degree in psychology. He has experience in the Spanish and Latin American TV markets, having worked for various development departments over the past ten years, such as LemonStudios, Televisa Internacional and NBCUniversal.
He has experience in various writers' rooms for series and developments, having been co-creator of "Control Z" (2020-23), one of the most internationally successful series in the history of Mexico (in only its first month it was showing in 20.5 million households and was Top 10 in 64 countries including Brazil, Mexico, Spain, France and the United States), for which he wrote 12 episodes and was headwriter for the third and final season.
He has also written more than five released feature films, playing in varying genres, among which includes the comedies "Infelices para siempre" (Unhappy Ever After) (2023), which grossed more than 100 million pesos in theaters after the pandemic, "El Testamento de la abuela" (Grandma's Testament) (2020-Netflix) and the horror film "Animales Humanos" (Human Animals) (2020-Amazon), one of the most popular films on platforms in Mexico in recent years.
