Vitaly Kozlov is a hands-on writer, producer, financier who believes in understanding every aspect of the filmmaking and film distribution process.
Before moving to the United States in 1987 Vitaly worked in Russia as a correspondent for "Izvestia" and "Soviet stage and circus" magazine . As a youngest member of the Soviet playwright's union together with his father Valentine Kozlov he produced and co-wrote a high grossed "Autorodeo" show and prestigious events for the Kremlin Palace. He started working in the film industry in the end of 80s as a liaison between the major Soviet and Hollywood studios. In the 90s he was one of the biggest buyers and distributors for the Eastern European market.
With over 25 years of working experience in raising money, packaging and distributing films Vitaly understands the specific issues that may arise during any part of the film- making process and makes well informed decisions based on years of experience. He believes no problem exists without a solution and servicing the creative vision for a project. That process is a science of prioritizing and managing resources.
A strong believer in giving back and helping young filmmakers, Vitaly frequently provides mentorship to young up-and-coming film talent.
