Koku Tona is a writer, filmmaker, actor, singer, and the founder of KokuTV, a YouTube channel that features interviews with actors, directors, and other creatives in the entertainment industry. Koku Tona is the host of KokuTV and conducts interviews with various celebrities in the entertainment industry, including actors, producers, and directors.
Koku has been a fixture on many red carpets in New York City and Los Angeles, and has been a guest at TriBeca Film Festival, the Academy Awards, The Emmys, and more.
Additionally, Koku is a graphic designer, editor, and and producer. Through her work on KokuTV, Koku aims to provide a platform for underrepresented voices in the entertainment industry and to shed light on the experiences and perspectives of creatives from diverse backgrounds.
Koku collaborates closely with blackfilm, a website founded in 1997 by Howard University alum Val Moore.
