Born in Ermua, Basque Country, always trying to develop his creativity through different techniques, drawing, sculpture, modeling... finding his greatest satisfaction with clay.
His specialty is the creation of stop motion puppets, and has worked as head of departments in this field. Sculpting characters, making metal armatures, moulds, using different materials including silicons and paints. He has also participated in the construction of sets and props.
His mentor in the world of Stop motion, Alba E. Garcia is the person who opened the door for him in animation. Since that moment he has participated in projects in New York, Norway, France and Spain.
All the experiences he has had has helped him to become a more complete artist without fear of experimenting with new ideas. For several years he worked in theater and television in minor roles. His experience in interpretation has allowed Oscar to have a better understanding when designing and creating characters/puppets. His first contact with the world of boats was in 2006. he sailed with his husband and his faithful friend Elmo, an old english sheepdog, on an amazing journey. They voyaged along the east coast of America, starting in Maryland and on to Norway via Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Faroe Islands and Scotland. He still sailing from time to time. Interior design and renovation have given Oscar different perspectives on the way to explore shapes, textures and colours. An Importan part of his life is the continuous contact with nature, enjoying and learning from working with animals with whom he has a special connection.
