Richard Jamze is an award-winning queer writer/director from Australia.
Richard kicked off his career with his partner and collaborator Natalie Rose making the Christmas Comedy "Santa Hunters" (2024). The film follows three hunters as they each try to catch the jolly man himself, Santa Claus. Richard and Natalie produced the movie themselves on a shoe-string budget that would make the catering department on a studio movie weep.
Shooting and editing it themselves, completing nearly all 200 VFX shots alone, and even unfortunately briefly appearing in the film, as far first indie movies go, they think it's quite fun, actually. The film is being distributed by Radioactive Pictures.
Two weeks after finishing Santa Hunters, Richard and Natalie were back on set producing and directing their second movie "How Quickly Clouds Move" with Armin Dzafic. The film boasts powerful performances from Armin Dzafic, Karlo Bilic, Milijana Cancar, Slobodan Dane Andonoski and is currently in post-production.
With no signs of slowing down, Richard and Natalie are in pre-production on a factual premium limited series and their next features: An Australian Biopic, and the first of their many Westerns.
