Austine Lordlaz

Austine Lordlaz is an award winning professional Film and Theatre Director, AD, Producer, Writer and Lecturer. Austine has written ,directed and produced a couple of feature and short films in Nigeria. His newest Film project "First Chronicles of the Island" is in the works for distribution after his much embraced "September 23" a State Government commemoration Film Project. Austine Lordlaz holds a Master's degree in Directing for TV, Film and Theatre and a B.A in Theatre Arts. Apart from being a directing and Screenwriting Lecturer at Emem Isong's Royal Arts Film Academy , Austine Lordlaz was an Assistant director on the International Spanish TV series La Unidad , 2nd Assistant Director on Hasta El Cielo la serie, and The Black Book. He also functioned as the Second Second Assistant Director on the Multiple award winning film Eyimofe (This is my desire ) After being a long standing Production Coordinator and Unit production manager at Ebonylifetv , he also was part of the production crew in ELTV'S The wedding Party 2 . Austine has directed jaw dropping and spine chilling command performances for many Nigerian state governments and universities. His outing as a director in Africa's biggest street party, Carnival Calabar, produced Freedom Band in 1st Position (2019) after fifteen years of Carnival Play. Austine Lordlaz's film,( The Last of Us) won best short film at the Uyo International Theatre and film Festival (2019), Best short film ,Governor Ben Ayade's Humanity Film Competition (2019) with other nominations across the world. He also co-produced the film 'Gone Nine Months' alongside Lola Okusami which won the Best Future Film award in Rome (2017). Austine has a rare combination of creative and production skills that stands him out. The Abia state born Film and Theatre maker is certainly an asset to the world's film space.
