Elisabeth Rohm plays her character, Miss Hall, from A Christmas Kiss (2011). She says, "If a kiss happens in the elevator..." and Cooper responds, "It stays in the elevator?" Miss Hall then responds, "Not always" which is a nod to her character's assistant and boyfriend kissing in the elevator and then falling in love and getting married in the original.

In one of the scenes, the main characters go Christmas tree shopping outdoors, at around 5pm in Boston a few days before Christmas. At that time of day in late December it would already be dark in Boston, yet the scene was shot in broad daylight.

Yikes

I expect a certain level of cheesiness and bad acting from Christmas movies, but the entire film I couldn't tell whether to take the lead guy seriously. He has a smirky douchiness to him that makes the entire story fall flat. Then there's the fact that the movie is based on the idea of a hostile work environment being charming. No thank you.
