Hailing from Britain, and handled in the states through popular label Girlfriends Films, "Look at Me" is gonzo lesbian porn with little merit.

Continental talent like Ava Courcelles, who stars in many French features for Marc Dorcel, is mixed and matched in separate vignettes devoid of dialog or narrative. There is definitely a connection between the women, but no more than any conjured up by seasoned porn performers.

Goal is to achieve a minimalist, natural look, with no big-breasted pin-ups -just attractive normal looking femmes. Result however high-toned the director's ambition is interchangeable with a thousand generic lesbian porn videos dumped regularly on the market from such labels as Lipstick or Sunshine, often in four or 10 hour compilation form.

Bottom line is that the U.S. made narrative lesbian sagas that put Girlfriends Films on the map and come out with new editions monthly are so far superior to this forgettable effort that even having bought a copy I searched in vain for useful information to help prepare this review -the release has barely left a trace.
