Self - Host: [reviewing 'wagons east'] There this not one laugh in it, then when I looked at the John Candy character and realized... .not one intended laugh. They're not trying to be that funny.
Self - Host: Like when we first see him, he walks in the bar, he then falls down. They think that's funny? That's the level of the humor.
Self - Host: They fall off cliffs, they roll around, they go into the mud, then they come out looking messy. Who looked at this screenplay and thought of it as a comedy?

Season 8, Episode 47
Oliver stone's NATURAL BORN KILLERS, BLANKMAN, John Candy's final film WAGONS EAST, FRESH and THE ADVOCATE are the five films reviewed on this weeks episode. If you're a fan of the series then you'll have some fun going back through these older films. It's always interesting to see these original reviews and think about where the films are today. It's also interesting to hear their thoughts on the meaning of NATURAL BORN KILLERS and see how the film was spot on about a lot of things that are happening today. Then you've got Candy's final film, which, as they said, would be forgotten. It's also refreshing to be reminded about FRESH and how that film seems to have been forgotten over the years.
