Rangreza

This is one of those Pakistani films which would have been made in 70s and 80s. Urwa Hussain who plays the lead name Reshami is reminiscent of Babra Sharif or Shabnam. Even her make up and hair style belong to that era when layers of makeup were applied to the leading ladies. Bilal Ashraf is passable in his acting and charm. Ghanna Ali's role is insignificant but she is good in which ever scene she had. Gohar Rasheed is passable in acting department but his costumes are really out of place. Film is well lit and sets are fine and photography is good. But the movie is plainly a dud and if the makers intented to deliver a social message about the class and family they have failed. Two actors who were good were Simi Pasha and Imran Pirzada one must mention Alyzeh Gabol who was wasted in a cameo but was a treat to watch when ever she appeared on screen.
