Mexican Cinema used to be in debt with Classical Music Orchestras. PERDIDA is a succesful and much deserved step in the right direction. The film manages to portray the coolness inside music enssembles such as the OFUNAM, besides telling a suspenseful moment in a Director's life. Talent, and beauty all around the team, interesting cameo by Laura García. Too bad she was the only brave personality to remind us time to time Sala Neza hosts the Mexico City Jet Set. The Script structure adds excitement to the mystery to be unraveled. Just one star I must discount, for the soundtrack to had been recorded with electronic samples, and not the real Orchestra that was payed for pretending being directed by Mr. De Tavira. That close PERDIDA's highlights, would have been pimped up with an amazing soundtrack. Regardless the synthesizers are a downgrade, it still adds up to a satisfying viewing.
