- TriviaA copy of the film is included as a bonus feature on the Kino Lorber Studio Classics DVD and German DVD releases of Murder! (1930) and the French DVD release of La posada maldita (1939).
- ErroresAs Sir John interviews Mary in jail, it is established in long-shot that both are sitting at opposite ends of a long table. During frontal closeups, the widths of the planks that make up the tabletop reveal that very randomly either the table is turning between shots or both persons repeatedly switch places.
The exact same continuity error also applies to the American version of the movie, Murder! (1930).

So I just got done watching Mary (1931), the German version of Murder! (1930), and it's literally the same exact movie that I watched earlier this morning.
Positives for Mary (1931): The movie is expertly directed by Alfred Hitchcock, then again all of his movies are that. And finally, the German actors do a fine job with their performances.
Negatives for Mary (1931): Like I said in my introduction, this movie is basically the same as Murder! (1930) with the only difference being the characters are now played by German actors. This movie is so pointless and that made worse by the fact that Murder! (1930) came out a year before this movie.
Overall, Mary (1931) is not worth your because all you're going to do is just rewatch Murder! (1930).
