Coming Out Alive

Isobel Gateway (Helen Shaver) seems to live an ok life despite her son Nickie is disabled. Peace is disrupted when one day her former husband (Michael Ironside) kidnaps Nickie. Since police efforts fail and detectives don't see that as a kidnapping since her husband hasn't divorced yet, Isobel has her occasion when killer Jocko Riley starts to stalk her and she manages to convince him for use him for retireving her son. When Jocko manages to locate Gateway on his house boat, it will take only a long fight with a final explosion for taking Nickie to safety.

The budget doesn't look that great and according to Wikipedia it was intended as a TV movie and the only other review here gives it a 2. And one thing struck me: how Isobel could have trusted someone that previously stalked her? He could have killed her if he had the chance, and should have asked to the police of his whereabouts. But it's still worth the watch for the ending and it's not that long.
