Nikki is shown barefoot as she listens to music in her bedroom and then calls her friend Mary, but when Nikki suddenly jumps out of bed and runs to a separate phone outside her bedroom to call her aunt, she is wearing big fuzzy slippers.
In the supermarket where Sharon and Susan are shopping but don't realize that each other is there, Susan takes a yogurt from the shelf and walks away. Within seconds, the same yogurt container that Susan just grabbed re-appears, and Sharon grabs it.
While Sharon and Nikki Ferris are said to live in Tampa, Florida, the scene with Nikki horseback riding at the Crooner Stables shows Southern Californian mountains in the background.
In the scene where Sharon and her brother-in-law board the monorail, they're supposed to be at the Tampa airport, but a sign for Harbour Island (a residential area several miles away from the airport) can be seen through the monorail's windows on the left side.
