A House in the Hills

This film focuses on an aspiring actress who's currently working as a waitress. She gets a job as a house sitter for a couple in the Hollywood Hills where a murder has just happened next door. She comes into contact with an "exterminator" who is there for other reasons played by Michael madsen. The story unfolds as it does with its simplicity but stands out with such comedic performances by both Helen Slater and Michael Madsen. This movie had me in stitches laughing many times. Just when I thought it was going to "go there" it just pulls the rug out of under you and you find yourself laughing your ass off. This is not a thriller, this is a rom com. It has likable characters and has a happy ending. It's just perfect. 10 out of fricken 10.
