A girl is being chased from an asylum to open up Kitten in the Cage, and that is probably the best part of this film. I will say; however, that this movie does have some laughs of the unintentional kind and that made it easier to sit through. The dubbing is atrocious. The sex scenes are non-existent and the few nude scenes are of hardened strippers in totally unfufilling glory. Lead actress Miriam Eliot is so bad she made me laugh out loud quite a few times. She has absolutely no sense of timing, looks like she is reading cue cards half of the time, and is flat with regard to any talent other than showing off(to a very stingy degree I might add) her fairly decent body. But she is one of the better thespians and that bodes poorly for you the viewer. The other girl playing her stripper friend that allows her to shack up with her isn't even acting it seems. She has no conviction in what she says in anything. I swear I could find more talent at a grocery store any given time. She is blessed physically though. The male leads are hoots as they all look like they must have been friends of the director and producer. They don't act either nor say anything convincingly. The fight between the boss guy and the boyfriend looked so hokey and phony that all you will be able to do is laugh at just how bad everything in this film is. The story is convoluted but does try. It has something to do with gems, the mob, and a little mermaid. But truly I haven't seen acting this bad, and I watch a lot of bad movies, in quite some time.
