When Nicolas is locked outside the lodge during the heavy snowstorm, he walks around to the back of the building. As he approaches the double glass doors to see if they'll open- at 51 minutes 45 seconds- an avalanche occurs, and is visible through the left door glass panel.

wonderful in every aspect

Most definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen, a bit on the strange side sometimes, but a very moving film. camera work excellent, the acting is amazing, and very well directed. not a well known movie, but a very good one.
