Though the series is based on
Louisa May Alcott's novel "Little Men", its international English title is "Jo's Boys" or "Little Women II: Jo's Boys"; "Jo's Boys" was in fact the third novel in the "Little Women" series, with all of the characters from "Little Men" having grown up. The only country to adapt this English title for its broadcast was Spain, where the series was known as "Los chicos de Jo."
