This director knows how to create an atmosphere .It would be the main interest of his future works ("Menaces" , "Le Port Du Désir" "L'Envers Du Paradis" and his most famous work " Les Mains D'Orlac)

A secret organization ,"Le Triangle De Feu" (the fire triangle) ,signs all their crimes with a triangular hole .Banks,gold trains are robbed and the Police are helpless.Nobody knows who is at the head of the Triangle De Feu" -although you do not have to be Holmes or Poirot to guess the whodunit as soon as the boss appears .

In the heroine's good uncle's desirable dwelling ,visitors are requested no to smoke because it disturbs the fishes in the aquarium ,some of them are very rare (so what an invaluable loss in the final scenes!)

Two jokes:a radio advertisement praises a tooth paste ;a witness answers "yes" whatever the question may be, even when he is asked " do you take me for such a fool?" the cops discover he is a Czecoslovakian and "yes" is the only French word he knows
