Playboy's second longest running series 'Sexy Lingerie' is only beaten by their 'Wet & Wild' videos, but they share common ground in both got better as they went along. As the last sequel 'Club Lingerie' has high quality scenes that deliver nudity frequently, but a few underwhelm. A certain type of lady - borderline cliche - ends up delivering the best parts here.
It's also a title hosted by Playmates (Deanna Brooks, Layla Roberts, Kelly Monaco) and model Christi Taylor. You hear from them in an intro and in between segments for filler. What they say is made up & lightly ties into upcoming scenes, but the vid does the right thing with them naked in a group scene later. "Custom Made Lingerie" is two Playmates (Katalina Verdin, Catalina Larranaga) in a lingerie store that turns lite girl/girl. One (Cat) the employee, the other (Kat) the customer. Both are very pretty dropping from clothes especially an enhanced Kat, but it has more setup (2 mins) than I'd like (6 mins). "Cat Burglar" is a thief (Bethany Lorraine) who tries on lingerie rather than steal jewelry. Bethany no stranger to PB vids looks great, but it doesn't reach it's full potential (6.5 mins).
"The Bride" is blonde beauty Jamie Bergman in all her Playmate glory. She goes under quite a few clothing changes - white lingerie, wedding dress, black lingerie and a blue dress - and my god look at her boobs! A great piece that captures every inch of her tan body it rivals most of her PMotY material. Very hot stuff (6.5 mins). "Dream Lover" can't match those same heights as ladies (Dita Von Teese, Flower) indulge in a girl/girl fantasy at a pool that at one point involves lingerie. Got to give credit that unlike other segments the nudity comes quick with no lengthy setup and the visual dynamic of tanned Flower versus a pale Dita is on point plus a bunch of closeups too (6.5 mins). "Handmaiden" is more busty blondes (Rebecca Scott, Laura Cover) that stays strictly solo, but no complaints. Laura helps Rebecca into a bathtub and then watches in secret and gets turned on. There's some very nice shots of Rebecca all soapy & wet, but also closeups of Laura as well (7 mins).
"Shopping" is fine ladies (Alexandria Karlsen, Nancy O'Brien, Vanessa Gleason) in a lingerie store. Alexandria & Vanessa try stuff which yes means shots in lingerie, partially clothed or completely naked. Nancy is an employee and the scene turns into a boy/girl for her. It sounds hot, but the back and forth visuals don't build to anything memorable. Mainly due to the simulated sex which left me cold (6.5 mins). "Club Lingerie" has the hosts (Kelly, Deanna, Layla, Christi) model lingerie for an eager crowd equal parts runway style and strip club vibe. Good shots either on stage or solo on the couch you've seen them talking on throughout leave it a decent closer (7.5 mins).
As you can see two scenes with busty blondes were my favorite moments of 'Club Lingerie'. Production values here are great per usual from PB and the entire video has attractive women, but a few choices miss the mark. YMMV but I think we'll be in agreement that Jamie's part is top shelf and a must watch for fans of hers.
