- TriviaWas the first to ever show the Abraham Zapruder film Zapruder Film of Kennedy Assassination (1970). A bootleg version of the film was provided to the show by Robert J. Groden, a photography expert, even though the copyright was still held by Time, Inc at the time.

Those of us who worked late in the 70's have fond memories of this show and the truly unique style of Rivera's presentation. With fascinating guests and an eclectic array of topics, this was perfect late, late night television. With the theme song of the same name by Arlo Guthrie welcoming us to participate, it was easy to lose oneself in our fascination in the wee hours of the morning. Entertaining, enlightening, and always worth staying up an hour or so more for. Especially well remembered was guest Kurt Vonnegut, Rivera's then father-in-law, and soon to be one of my favorite authors. The program served as an introduction to his novels and did the same with an uncountable number of other writers, musicians, and commentators. This was intelligent, often superb television of the kind we see little of in the 21st century.
