Pirate Video Deluxe 7: London Calling

One of Tanya Hyde's early efforts (for Private's fetish label Pirate), "London Calling" is a more intimate, less large-scale exploration of the actress- director's peculiar fantasies. It is an expensive collector's item, also available in a reissue 4-pack titled Tanya Hyde's Private Perversions.

Shot MOS in London with some English voice-over by Debbie Gee, the 5 segments are distinctive and engrossing bondage and fetish content designed to intrigue the adventurous viewer. Euro stars Monique Covet and the beautiful Black actress Bettina shine and literally dominate the proceedings.

Opening vignette "Cunt Clinic" is perhaps the most memorable, stylized with variable pastel lighting that changes the skin tone and turns Bettina's pink fishnet stockings alternately blue or green. She and Covet portray demented dentists (!) but of course styled as anything but, with their latex outfits, high heels, goggles and sexual toys. Besides the lesbian activity, they deal with patient Tony DeSergio, laid out on a table to be toyed with, bearing effeminate makeup and wearing high leather boots with high heels to give off an androgynous look.

Covet humps Tony in the posterior first with a metal cork-screw device and later with a large strap-on dildo and the threesome gets increasingly heated en route to Tony dishing out some dominant sex of his own on the girls, ending in a facial (with their handy goggles on). The British actor might not boast of this performance but he demonstrates he's a game trouper.

Oddest sequence is Hyde's tribute to Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange", titled "Cockwork Cabaret", in which busty blonde Ingrid Swede does her leather-oriented striptease leading on stage to a mixed-combo gang bang involving a trio of fans wearing bowlers and outfits based on Malcolm McDowell's Alex from that movie.

Ingrid returns for a strange finale misleadingly titled "Two fat cocks and the sleeping cutie", which has much more content than that moniker implies. Chantell is the sleeping beauty laid out in a coffin on a smoky set where two guys service her, and she's definitely not asleep giving them blow jobs. As other people join in the sexual content escalates to d.p. action and plenty of fetish content. I'll give away the trick ending: a still photo of a stream of cum frozen in mid-air is reprised and then "THE END" is emitted in animation from a cock head.
