"Offensive Behavior" is an apt title for this film and is fair warning to those who are considering watching it. For me personally, I found it quite entertaining and funny as it was meant to be. Troma has taken on some really borderline bad/cheesy films (which are sometimes UNintentionally funny and generally eye rollers)- because of that and my familiarity with their films, my expectations were really low. However, this film took me by surprise.
This twisted film takes on pornography film making, necrophilia, nuns who have no business being in a convent, the mafia, Hare Krishnas and gay stereotypes. I don't want to give too much away, but there are a couple of different plot lines that all intersect in a way at the end. There is a lot of bad language and some violence in the film so be aware of that as well.
David Sheard as the gay hairdresser and Janice Gray as the non committed nun/David's mom give great performances and the rest of the cast does an adequate job as well.
For me, the moral of the film is be careful what you wish for, you just might get it and more :). I would be leery recommending this film unless I knew without a shadow of a doubt the person I was recommending it to had a warped and twisted sense of humor and took little offense to anything. If that describes you, check it out - if not, you better pass.
