For many creators, the challenge of combining a MMA story with an international espionage tale is just too exciting to pass up. Which is really unfortunate because the two mix as well as oil and water. This film takes yet another kick at the can. However, to use MMA lingo, that kick is "blocked" by a generally weak story, weak dialog, and weak acting. Compounded by obvious budget restraints and the inability of the editor to keep the final product below a tight 90 minutes. The real reason this film may attract an audience, however, is to see if Ludi Lin has the star power to carry the entire thing on his back, warts and all. If yes, this could really help his career. Fingers crossed. ((Designated "IMDb Top Reviewer."
