Taking off a couple stars for Marinette's singing voice 😭😭 Why did Christina Vee not sing??? Other than that, the movie was spectacular. I was sad it didn't play into the plot line of the actual show and kind of ends on a note that suggests there will be no further movies, but otherwise, I loved it. I laughed a lot, thought the banter between characters was amazing, and can appreciate how graphically stunning it is. Bravo to everyone who worked on this. Each character was beautifully animated and captured their original animation while also greatly enhancing it at the same time. The ending was so sweet.
So I'll say first off, as the brother of two younger sisters who are (along with me) huge miraculous fans, we all thouroughly enjoyed this movie. It's a heavily abridged version of the show's story, but on its own it's a great movie (with absolutely INCREDIBLE animation) and it in many ways delivers on the promises that the show has failed to deliver over the last couple years.
All that being said, I do recommend watching this movie twice: once in your own language and once in french, because this IS a musical, and the songs sound INFINITELY better in their native language.
TLDR: Good Movie!

TLDR: Good Movie!
I went into this movie with very high expectations after seeing the beautiful animation in all the trailers. But, while i was watching it, I was just underwhelmed. Everyone seems to have an issue with the songs, but I thought they were pretty good. My issue was all the skips. I understand It's hard to fit the premise of an entire show into a movie but it was definitely rushed. 1. Plagg wasn't even introduced until way later (and he was introduced by farting?) 2. Adrien didn't really have a reason to have the miraculous... he didn't save anyone. 3. the powers weren't explained at all, the cataclysm basically came out of nowhere.. Adrien and Gabriel don't really seem to have any relationship either, they have like 5 minutes on screen together minus the ending. And the scene switching was a mess. After Ladybug left when Cat was about to kiss her, it just cut to a 3 second clip of him staring at the Eifel tower, then it cut to another scene? In my opinion, the whole plot seems rushed and new viewers who have never seen the show are definitely going to be confused.
My toddler wouldn't even watch this. Was looking forward to this but just a big let down.

Title: A Disappointing Adventure: Lackluster Kids Movie Review
In the vast and enchanting world of children's cinema, certain films manage to charm and captivate young audiences with their magical storytelling and endearing characters. However, not every movie achieves this feat, and unfortunately, this particular kids movie falls into that category. With its lackluster plot, forgettable characters, and predictable humor, the film fails to spark the imagination of its intended audience, leaving both kids and adults feeling disappointed.
At the core of any successful children's movie lies a compelling and imaginative plot that takes viewers on an unforgettable journey. Regrettably, this film fails to deliver on this front. The storyline lacks originality and struggles to stand out from the sea of generic tales. Instead of whisking the audience away to a world of wonder, the movie stumbles through familiar tropes, failing to ignite the spark of curiosity and excitement in its young viewers.
Character development is another vital aspect of any film, especially one catering to children. Yet, in this particular movie, the characters remain shallow and one-dimensional. From the protagonist to the supporting cast, their personalities lack depth and fail to leave a lasting impression. Without well-crafted characters to root for, the emotional investment from the audience dwindles, leading to disinterest and detachment from the unfolding story.
A successful kids movie is also expected to deliver on the front of humor and entertainment. Unfortunately, the attempts at humor in this film feel forced and formulaic. The jokes lack the cleverness and spontaneity that usually delight young viewers and their families. Instead, the movie relies on tired and predictable gags that do little to elicit genuine laughter or amusement. As a result, the overall entertainment value of the movie takes a hit, leaving the audience longing for more engaging and genuinely funny moments.
While the film boasts visually appealing animation, it becomes evident that the stunning visuals are used as a crutch to compensate for its other shortcomings. While eye-catching, the animation alone cannot compensate for the lack of a compelling narrative and well-developed characters. The reliance on visuals further highlights the movie's inability to make a lasting impact on its viewers.
Moreover, successful children's movies often carry important themes and meaningful messages that resonate with young audiences. However, this film struggles to convey any impactful messages due to its lack of depth in storytelling and character arcs. As a result, the takeaway from the movie remains unclear and unremarkable, failing to leave a lasting impression on its viewers.
In conclusion, the lackluster kids movie disappoints on multiple levels, from its uninspired plot to its forgettable characters and predictable humor. While the animation is visually impressive, it cannot salvage the overall viewing experience. Ultimately, the film fails to capture the magic and wonder that defines successful children's cinema, leaving its audience with a sense of unfulfillment and dissatisfaction. In a realm filled with remarkable children's movies, this one unfortunately does not rise to the occasion.

I'm not sure why peoplel r giving this movie 10. It's just short dense movie of the TV show, with little growth for the character. The singing was awful! To me the voice didn't go with the character. I agree with another reviewer who pointed out that you don't see plagg until later on. Even Marianette's dad is annoying. You dont' get the frustrstion of Marianette and Adrian idenity like you do in the show. Even the ending was disappointing as much as people want to see that happy ending, you learn from the TV show that it's impossible. Keep making the T. V. show instead! 100 percent better!!!!
