Opinión destacada
BEE SIMULATOR (2019) is more of an educational and informational game, although it is very enjoyable for those simply looking for entertainment, and I feel in most ways, it would be suitable for all ages. As an adult, a lifelong gamer and a person interested in micro-biology and micro ecosystems (especially concerning insects) this game was very unique, enjoyable while being fairly informative.
As a game, the flight mechanics were very smooth and realistic, albeit a bit hypersensitive until you tweak the control settings. Graphically, it was very enjoyable. The quests were entertaining and there are plenty of side quests, challenges and collectables, which add a lot of hours gameplay especially considering the story is fairly short. I admit that some of the challenges were a bit difficult, at least more than I was expecting, especially the chases/races and one of the fights. But that's great, as it gives a little extra content and reasons for adults to play. All that being said, the story could have been longer and more thought out. The story itself was very short and felt lacking.
Overall, this was a cool little game. I already have a profound sense of respect for bees and how they impact our world, the environment and ecosystem, but even more so after playing this. They are such amazing creatures, incredibly hard workers and vastly under appreciated part of our planet. I'm glad there is more exposure to the plight of the honeybee and how detrimental their loss would be. This was a great, enjoyable game suitable for all ages.
STORY: 7/10 GAMEPLAY: 9/10 GRAPHICS: 9/10 ART DESIGN: 8/10 MUSIC: 4/10 OVERALL RATING: 8.5.
