During the RV chase, the RV is a Dodge; when the police come upon the RV at the Rose Bowl, it is a Chevrolet.
At the Rose Bowl, Nolan calls for backup and an airship. An airship had already radioed the position of the remains of the RV, so one was already there.
When beginning to chase a vehicle Nolan radios in the pursuit saying speeds of 60, even though they are just starting the pursuit.
Patrol officers do not make high risk entries alongside SWAT as was shown. Those are SWAT only operations. Patrol officers enter after the building is secured.
Nolan and his TO being alone the entire time at the termination of the pursuit in the parking garage is unrealistic. In a pursuit, especially in LA, many agencies are involved. While there would be manpower devoted to the scene where the officer was shot, there would be just as much or more dedicated to chasing the suspect. Also, an airship would have been overhead prior to the officer being shot and would have assisted in the pursuit.
During the chase of the officer gone rogue, the scene takes them through the streets where they end up inside the Rose Bowl stadium in the neighboring community of Pasadena, CA. No mention in radio chatter to get the Pasadena police involved, either.
During the RV chase, Nolan reports the RV as having Arizona license plates. In brief but clear shots of the front and back of the vehicle, it's obvious that the RV carries California plates.
An airship radioed the location of the remains of the RV. This same airship would have seen the suspect flee the vehicle and been able to provide their direction of travel.
The sergeant says the DA cannot get a conviction without the gun. That's false, as the gun criminal was seen shooting the officer by numerous other officers, and there was body camera footage from all officers there, to include the officer that was shot. The detective when talking to Nolan later says much the same thing and makes the same error.
