I know there are bogus reviews out here for this show and others. Because how can you watch a show for two whole years and then write that that's it your done with the show. Please. I've loved all episodes of both seasons and I hated that you know who had to be a bad guy but It was a very good season finale. Can't wait for season 3.
Unlike most of the other reviewers, I actually really liked that we got to see Armstrong's point of view. I was so confused as to how they flipped such a good character, so those scenes were really helpful.

- Getting to see Lopez as an acting detective was really nice. I can't wait to see if/ when more comes out of that.
- I was expecting Bradford and Rachel to break up, but I'm surprisingly happy that they're still together.
- I really like Rosalind (as much as you can like a serial killer), so having her in this episode really brought it up for me.
Worst part of the episode?
- They made Nolan so so stupid. Like yelling-at-my-screen-about-how-dumb-he-is-being kind of stupid.
The Rookie has been one of my favorite shows. I think Nathan Fillion brings quality to his shows. The Season 2 finale was a real stinker, totally unbelievable. Maybe they can open season 3 with the insane situation left in season 2 described as a bad dream. Belaboring it would only make it worse.
I have generally liked this TV Show, except for the loud, bad, intrusive background music. It's like the makers of the show gave up on trying to appeal to an audience the same age as the main character. Instead they loudly play music that appeal to urban millennials.
Then this supposed cliff-hanger left me feeling like the show has gone off the rails. They've gone too far with a story that previously was more realistic.
So I don't know if I want a season 3. If there is no season 3, I won't miss it.

This is the first time I have disliked any of the episodes! Are we expected to believe after 2 seasons of getting to know Nolan's character that he would handle this situation so poorly? It's rather insulting! He would (as any smart cop would) have recorded that conversation for a start. I get they are trying to make it entertaining but this wasn't the way!

- ErroresMultiple people, including cops and lawyers, repeatedly state they have no case without the gun. This is untrue as many officers observed the suspect shooting and killing a man, with bodycam footage. They do not need the gun nor does it need fingerprints even if they had it.

Rosalind Dyer: So if this is the last time I see you, you will live on in my fantasies.
John Nolan: Well, that makes one of us.
