Or are they jealous US BigFooters who dislike the idea of European sightings? ...it's a british documentary featuring interviews with eye witness accounts. That took Turner around 2 years to put together, and as he mentiones, only one in 6 witnesses want to speak about the experience on camera (due to the looming ridicule)
Give it at least the first 50min and just listen to the mostly reasonable thoughts & ideas - these expressed are no different and the same valid as any in bbc wildlife documentaries.
Yes looking at google maps Britain doesn't have much vast woodland, but, as mentioned not as many wild/crosscountry hikers as abroad, as England has the nasty ancient trespass law preventing access to a lot of woods - means most walkers stay on (public) paths, and that at daytime.
So No, noy entirely impossible to stay unseen as a nightactive, nightvision-capable species to evade humans. Also much more ancient crumbling forgotten mines in England no-one dares to set foot into.
