Torn by his split personality, he can be either vicious and villainous as Gollum, or social and cautious as Sméagol. While vital to the story by J.R.R. Tolkien, many details of Gollum's quest have not yet been unveiled... Now is the time to take Gollum's dark adventure into your own hands and experience his untold story, from the time as a slave below the Dark Tower to his stay with the Elves of Mirkwood.

Use stealth, agility, and cunning to survive and overcome what lies ahead. Climb, leap, and grapple your way past dangers or onto advantageous spots. While Gollum might not be a fighter, it is not unlike him to assassinate a careless enemy when the chance presents itself - or dispose of them in more creative and... villainous ways.

Your decisions and how you play have a direct influence on Gollum's personality: Always struggling between his two selves embodied by Gollum and Sméagol, it is up to you to decide whether you let darkness take over, or that spark of reason left in what was once a sun-loving hobbit. One mind, two egos - you decide!

Unacceptable by today's standards

I have never written a review of a game before so as you can imagine, the fact I'm writing a review should just highlight how bad this game is. 10 minutes in and I am shocked as how buggy, clunky, boring and weird this game is. Gollum voice is shocking. I've seen dozens of voices actors absolutely nail a gollum impression. In fact, there is a woman on tik tok who can do one perfectly. Yet they went with one that sounds nothing like him.

Then there is his appearance... with a comb over borderline toupee. Just shockingly bas graphic.

I would have thought this game came out in the early 2000's and not only recently. I bought it for 16 bucks on special and I think I paid too much!

Whoever was responsible for any of this game, should never work again in the industry. Just absolutely shocked.
