John Luther

The story is about a bike accident which later leads to missing person case. While investigating, more missing cases came into light. The police officer who is in charge however, looses his hearing power in a fighting. Will he able to find the person behind?

I loved the movie, however, one thing that irritates me the whole time is, the hearing problem thing. If it wasn't included, it would be more enjoyable. The story itself is pretty good so there wasn't any necessity of introducing hearing problem concept.

I really liked this movie it was engaging from the starting itself...nothing much to say ,just give it a watch..oh and ,the climax hero villian encounter could've been better, coz it felt usual and clishe...if that fight scene was made better and more nail biting,the movie would've been lit.

I didn't expect it would so good these episodes.

Idris Elba played well so the other actors. Congratulations to the director who created suspense a la crescendo until the last episode that lets open the unexpected end.

Each episode tolda a new crime story with quick turns and guessing nonstop what will happen next. Really entertaining but sometimes with violent bloody scenes. My vote 7 matches exactly with the actual rating of IMDb.

Plot of the Movie: CI John Luther alias Jaysuriya had been assigned a case of attempt to murder of a political person & in the mean time another case of multiple murders are being taken place which also been handed over to him... During the course of his investigation he is being attacked & thereby looses his hearing and how John Luther unlocks the mystery behind the multiple murders which is the main plot of this movie forms the rest part of the story..

Positivity of the Movie:

1) Perfect blending of story and screenplay as there was a suspense factory after every moment...

2) Thrilling moments being experienced..

3) BGM by Shaan Rahman was fantastic...

4) Climax was top notch as it was unpredictable..

5) Jaysuriya as John Luther had performed well.....

Negativity of the Movie:

1) Shaan Rahman music was not good as the lyricals was not worth memorable & so its music direction...

2) Movie could been better without songs as such scripts will be better without songs...

3) Less screen presence for ace actors like Siddique was not expected as the story just shows an aspect of the personal life of a police officer which in many cop jonor movies had been portrayed in different shades...

Overall, movie worthwhile to watch as it delivers a thrilling moment to the audience...

John Luther - It's a pretty much nice movie with a good twist in the end.

But what amazed me was the Jayasurya's performance, what solid acting, man! Jayasurya has given an award winning performance, especially those scenes where he loses his hearing scene, just brilliant acting by Jayasurya.

Also cannot believe it's a debut director's movie. Very good BGM and the cinematography is at top notch, DOP has captured the night scenes very well.

That said I said, it's certainly a good movie to watch for the weekend. Enjoy watching it. Kudos to the entire team for giving out a good movie. Highly recommended.
