The very beginning of the episode includes a new connection to the end of the previous episode. That concluded with Peacemaker playing a song on the piano. It was a surprisingly touching moment for the show as the DC character put his own twist on Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home." Despite John Cena's piano playing skills, it was not immediately clear why the song was chosen. This episode explains the deeper meaning behind the song choice, as "Home Sweet Home" was the last song Chris listened to with his brother before he died. It begins with the two boys jamming out to Motley Crue's song talking about their future, one that doesn't come for Keith tragically.

After Judomaster knocks out the two men at the convenience store, he kicks the bag one of them was carrying behind the car that they were driving. However, when he backs out in the car, the bag is next to the front wheel of the car. Also, the man who was lying unconscious by the front door of the car has now moved about a few feet in front of the car and is lying next to the other unconscious man.
