MobKing

This is the film that started it all for Ciro Dapagio's reign as it has everything you can ask for: Action, fast moving, clever twists and excellent acting with stellar cast and crew. The writing was on point and impeccable, gritty and keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat throughout from beginning to end it has you drawn it to the story that takes place after the main character Mike White comes home after serving his lengthy prison sentence to a different world and how he handles it all..Lots of fast moving scenes and excellent acting by Ciro, James Russo, Robert LaSardo and many other great talents..A tale of Cosa Nostra that is unique and gritty and Ciro Dapagio's performance brings it all home!

Now this is how a movie is made. From James Russo to Oksana Lada to Artie Pasquale this film is full of an incredible cast including new actors who truly made this a must see this year. Stellar performance by Elisabetta Fantone and her on screen daughter Celine Alva. Magnificent film work by the master himself Jokes Yanes. Stand out performance by Michael Villar who will have you screaming at the screen. This powerhouse film is a true example of what persistence, dedication and love of what you do is. You will not want to leave your seat and miss any part of it. Job well done to Hawk Meisenbach who plays "young Mike" and to the man himself, Ciro Dapagio this is something to be proud of.

I finally had a opportunity to watch MobKing and was not disappointed. The anticipated release had been building for sometime now and was worth the wait. This was better than expected, and really showcases the talent of each actor involved in the production. I've seen a little buzz going around that something new is in the works and I know that it will be just as riveting as what's already been created. Seeing the changes made from the private screening to the final product was outstanding. The story line is easy to follow, and holds your attention through out. Congratulations to the cast and crew for putting together something fresh, creative and worth watching again.

I cannot believe I did not know about this film. I must admit, I sat down to watch it without much enthusiasm. Actually, I planned to have it playing in the background while I did paperwork. WELL, I was hooked right from the beginning in the prison scene. A very unique and intense way to start a movie.

Slowly and effectively, I was sucked into the story. Trying to figure out who was who and who did what and what was about to occur as I always do. I was happily fooled at every turn. The ending was slightly predictable but it left a nice opening (or closing) for a Mobking 2 and that made me happy!

I never got that work done as I immediately watched it two more times, also as I usually do when I love a film and I loved this one!!!

I have been looking forward to this release and here it is. Full of characters you'll love and hate. Lots of suspense, plot twists and dramatic moments which will surely hold your attention. I suggest buying over renting as it's well worth watching again. This cinematic masterpiece has left room for a continuation which I hope will be coming. I love that it has familiar faces along side new ones. Knowing Ciro's backstory and being a long time fan of his has made this all the more enjoyable to see come to life on the big screen. Cannot wait to see what is next to come for all who were involved.
