How can this series be getting better and better. By the end of the series this was just one of the craziest moments of the series and its only 2 episodes in. I never thought this series was ever going to die out but i never thought it could go up.
For an independent run of comic to be translated into such a fan favorite tv show just proves that the writers and casting have been on point. I cannot praise the cast enough of this series with really only Karl Urban really the biggest name in the series!
The shock the episode was when the brutality hit but the end of it. This was a laughing matter as the incident from the first episode but pure unadulterated violence from the main cast!
Overall this was just another ride in a series that i dont ever want to end. So much of the story is a reflection on the world today but this is in no way preachy on trying to change anything.

The Boys is back motherf###er; and the ending is just... Holy Crap! It's fantastic and full of surprises, especially with Butcher and Homelander basically commanding the episodes dramatic beats!
It's already clear that The Boys ain't losing its bite anytime soon if there's still material THIS strong on the horizon.
It's still full of its satirical criticism of modern American culture, its main characters are embodiments of day-to-day chaos (least of all in superhero worlds like Marvel or DC) and have become one of TV's strongest ensemble casts.
The Boys ain't losing it yet; and it's sure to stick the landing too.

Anthony Starr is the star of this show. His performance as Homelander is phenomenal and he deserves awards for it. Homelander's story is still the most interesting and the moment where he goes truly insane will be memorable.
The other character's stories are fine, but slow. I hope we get to see more action in future episodes, but it's promising so far.

I first saw him in the show "Banshee". Thought he was amazing.
Lost track of him and when "The Boys" debut, I had zero idea he was Homelander until I perused the credits, saw he was the guy from "Banshee", and wow... could not have been more blown away!
Kudos to Antony Starr for bringing to life two fabulous characters that are iconic and no doubt to be a part of TV history.
As for this season so far? Terrific. So many shows start to run out of steam or become predictable by season 3. This not happening I credit to creator Eric Kripke. As with his running of "Supernatural", the show was focused and on track for the five year plan he had. Once he left and the CW carried on, albeit successfully (the show ran for 15 seasons!), it soon became predictable and at times silly.
Whatever Kripke's series plan is for "The Boys", I hope the network adheres to it and not sees dollar signs in keeping it on and on till it becomes a parody.

Really loved this one. As some have pointed out, the confrontation between Homelander and Butcher was intense as hell and the parallels are evident and ingenious. It'll be interesting to see how far Butcher takes things this season, and it's scary to think that Homelander could very well go even further than that...
It seems like Kimiko and Mother's Milk will be getting some development too, which is exciting. Even Hugh is getting a surprisingly compelling arc so far.
These first two episode have started to establish dark, wonderful things still go come. I'm excited to see what happens.

¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaThe license plate on Gunpowder's car - a Dodge Challenger - reads "2A4EVER" which stands for "2nd Amendment Forever".
- ErroresWhen Gunpowder ricochets the bullet off of the post to hit Butcher, we can clearly see that it is a hollow point projectile. That type of projectile would shatter on impact with the concrete post. In order for a shot like that to be even remotely believable, it would have had to have been a "ball" type projectile, aka, a full metal jacket (fmj) round. To be clear, that type of shot would still be impossible, but it would be slightly more believable had they used ball ammo.
