When Gunpowder ricochets the bullet off of the post to hit Butcher, we can clearly see that it is a hollow point projectile. That type of projectile would shatter on impact with the concrete post. In order for a shot like that to be even remotely believable, it would have had to have been a "ball" type projectile, aka, a full metal jacket (fmj) round. To be clear, that type of shot would still be impossible, but it would be slightly more believable had they used ball ammo.
One of the Supe Kids, who comes up on the screen when Hughie is scrolling through faces, is seen in a subsequent scene at the Vought Rifle convention at one of the kids' tables.
