I have to say I wasn't fond of this show at the start, but because of this amazing finale I'm glad I watched it.
The thing that's confusing people, I think, is the assumption that this was supposed to provide complete closure, which it definitely wasn't. This whole series is only the BEGINNING of the fourth phase of the MCU. I think that this finale is a lot more acceptable if it's considered as the SEASON finale, and that Doctor Strange 2 should be considered as Season 2 of this show, or a continuation.
Otherwise, this episode had lots of satisfying action, loved the Scarlet Witch look and the battle between the two Visions. The rest of the series as a whole was a great concept, and I can't wait to look back on it with future MCU content!
¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaElizabeth Olsen requested that her official Scarlet Witch costume be high collared, as she was uncomfortable with the low cut, cleavage baring costumes she had worn in previous MCU films.
- ErroresThe identity of Jimmy's witness, whose welfare he arrived in Westview to check on, is not overtly referenced, but a close examination of the documents this man owned reveals him to be "Ralph Bohner" (an alias).
- Citas
Vision: Wanda, I know we can't stay like this. But before I go, I feel I must know. What am I?
Wanda Maximoff: You, Vision, are the piece of the Mind Stone that lives in me. You are a body of wires and blood and bone that I created. You are my sadness and my hope. And mostly you're my love.
Vision: I have been a voice with no body. A body but not human, and now a memory made real. Who knows what I might be next?
- Créditos curiososThere is a scene at the end of the closing credits: Wanda researches the Darkhold at an isolated mountain home. This leads into Doctor Strange en el multiverso de la locura (2022).
- Versiones alternativasTwo versions of the post-credits scene exist. They are nearly identical. The new version includes a shadowy creature with a cape (presumably Stephen Strange) floating towards the cabin and a slightly different landscape.
