I hated ep. 1, like everybody else, but really liked this episode! I think an episode like this is the right way of transporting their message.
I think we can all agree police should be held accountable for their actions. I agree 100% with that statement. But, the way they're writing this season is like those old after school specials. It is so preachy that it comes off as annoying. It didn't surprise me that they had Jake mess up and be shown an example of this season. I love this show, but this season has been so disappointing. Even the couple of episodes that aren't overly political, are not written as well as the other seasons.
Peralta had every right to arrest the guy.
B99 is becoming a political show.
Every episode is about how bad police is.
Why are you doing that?
Why.

The writers have to totally head up from about police hypocrisy. We are here to laugh!! Bring back all the police office dramas, pranks,.. this season is totally not worth it except the lake house ep.
This episode was good, but not the best of the season so far. It still had its Nine-Nine charm, but it had a more serious feel to it, just like the first episode. I didn't mind the more serious tone of both the episodes, but I prefer the classic, fun Brooklyn Nine-Nine. This episode had its funny parts, especially with nine drink Amy, and drunk Rosa switching places talking to O'Sullivan, and he didn't even notice. Then when they went to go talk to Jake, drunk while riding bikes. I busted out laughing every second invoking Amy and Rosa this episode, O'Sullivan is also hilarious, and I hope to see more of him. The ending of the episode sort of got on my nerves, I don't know what it was, I just didn't like the ending.
This was a good episode, it just wasn't the best Can't wait for next week!

- TriviaAmy officially reaches "9 Drink Amy" for the first time. Each number of drinks brings out a new personality.
- ErroresUpon coming up with the plan to switch places with Rosa, Amy declares that 9-drink Amy is a genius, implying that she has had nine alcoholic beverages. A Tale of Two Bandits (2019) established that 9-drink Amy only speaks French, which she did not do here.
