When i started watching this episode i could tell it was going to be great already due to the build up of music and the flowing cinematography. Wasn't too sure on certain subplot characters returning but the rest of the episode justified it well. Going against my review from the previous episode, the Mandalorians actually seemed badass again. Even Din Djarin himself had flawless screen time. It's just a pity it's taken this long to get an episode like this because this is why i started watching The Mandalorian.
The last scene has so many questions it makes me actually intrigued for the series again.
9.1/10.
This is an enjoyable action focused episode with some very strong visuals.
There is plenty of spectacle to enjoy in this one as we see the Mandalorians in full effect and for a worthy cause. Some of the aerial battles are particularly slick and involve a great mix of imagery, music and sound effects.
I think the back and forth discussions about certain aspects of the episode's plot move at a frustrating pace when you consider what is meant to be happening on Navarro. Also, when you consider the the overarching narrative, Djin and Bo have done very little since season 3 started (other than a few side missions).
It does end with a bit of hope for what might happen next and there is a massive hint about the return of a certain character, which hopefully will be positive, and that a twist might be on the cards. I wonder if it's what I'm thinking.
The action is as good as it ever has been. It's cool to see the Mandalorians act like a special military force. We do not see a lot of strategy in Star Wars so it was good. The stories revolving Bo-Katan and Mando are very interesting and we seem to have an actual clear objective for this season now (which is great).
Honestly, Grogu is not cute anymore. He does not seem to be very intelligent and he walks slowly. I don't know if Disney can keep playing him as this cute little baby because it's getting annoying. He is 50 years old and he can't be this naive right? The biggest problem is that his writing is so inconsistent. Sometimes he gets flashbacks and can handle himself and find Bo-Katan on a different planet, but at other times he is just a little baby who can't do anything on his own. Is this sweet little act not getting old? I think so. If they took Grogu more seriously that would benefit the show and its storytelling.
The action scenes are badass. The story is from time to time intriguing.
The culture of the mandalorians is fascinating.
I hope the story keeps evolving. I'm glad that the pirates are gone now.
It raises the question were are the mandalorians in the last movies?

- TriviaFirst appearance in live action of Zeb Orrelios from the Star Wars Rebels (2014) animated series. Voice actor Steve Blum reprises his role as Zeb.
- ErroresAs the Mandalorian launches the attack upon a hovering Corsair, pirate king Gorian Shard gives the order to "man the gunwales". This prompts the pirate bombardiers to jump down to the lowest deck and begin firing gun turrets mounted to the underside of the spaceship. However, the nautical term 'gunwale' does not refer to an actual gun, since a gunwale is the upper edge of a ship's hull. Although a gunwale could be used to mount a gun, it's also leaned upon by passengers to admire an ocean view.

Paz Vizsla: I was there on Nevarro that night. I fought against Greef Karga and his hunters. I saw my brothers and sisters fall of the hands of the Imperial butchers that hunted us in the sewers. I saw many die to save the life of this one, tiny foundling. And now we are asked to sacrifice yet again. The question we should be asking ourselves, "Why? Why should we lay our lives down yet again?" Because we are Mandalorians. I have had disagreements with this man, but he risked his life to save my son. And Bo-Katan Kryze did not give up on my child's life even when the rest of us did. These two are asking us to take up arms in the name of a brighter future, and I for one will take up arms to fight by their side. This is the Way.
