Queen Bee

(Before I start, I don't speak English as a first language so I apologize if there's any mistakes on my review)

In my opinion this is the worse episode of the series, definitely worse than Unhappy Campers, I feel like nothing interesting nor important happens, the rhythm of the episode it's very slow, and the song being so repetitive doesn't help at all, that makes the episode feel like it's way longer than it actually is, and it's very boring to watch. I usually get trapped by every episode on Helluva Boss, but this was just not worth watching, the plot felt very uninteresting, I never cared about what was happening on screen and the fact that this is the finale for S1, when in the same season you have episodes like Truth Seekers makes the episode disappointing. I consider this episode the worse of the series, because at least Unhappy campers or any other episode has something going on, I felt more interested by the Unhappy Campers plot, than the Queen Bee plot.

So, to sum up, I hate Queen Bee so much, because it's not even worth hating it, I mean, there are other bad episodes, but at least they make you feel something like anger or cringe, Queen Bee it's so forgettable that it doesn't even make you feel any emotion besides boredom, it's soulless.

Trust me, I'm glad we got to explore the gluttony ring and get introduced to another sin but this could have gone about so much better. I love maximalism but Queen Bee's design just felt too loud with too many things crammed into one character, so much so that it took away from her actual story and personality. Episodes that introduced us to the greed and list ring have been so amazing with incredible plots to go along with it but this one did not make the cut. I hope we can explore bee's lore under better circumstances in later episodes as well as the gluttony ring as a whole. 'Cotton candy' was also awful. Blanket statement: episode not good.
