Absolutely devastated that it ended after season 2, especially after that cliff hanger. So much more story left to be told. Such a funny show.
There was so much more character development left for Jen, not to mention everyone else, would have loved to see where the story took them.
But seriously, that cliffhanger ending?? Not fair to not give us another season after that to be honest. Actually it's quite rude.
It's definitely become one of my comfort shows and I would most definitely poop my pants if it did get picked back up. I'm just so devastated if you can't tell. Anyways will be rewatching this till I die.

This rom-com series is a riot-think superhero shenanigans meets romantic mishaps. It's a refreshing break from the typical superhero flicks we're all tired of.
Each episode is like unwrapping a surprise gift, keeping you hooked with its unexpected twists and turns.
Binge-worthy. Spend a rainy weekend indoors with this gem of a series. You won't regret it. The characters' interactions feel natural, none of that forced drama nonsense. It's like hanging out with your wacky friends, minus the awkward silences.
My only complaint? Make the episodes longer!
Sometimes it feels like they end too soon, leaving you craving for more laughs.
Overall, a must-watch for anyone craving a good laugh and a fresh take on the superhero scene.

On paper this very British young adult comedy is made up of so many familiar parts, but the writing is fresh, unpredictable and often riotously funny. The principal roles are perfectly cast - the housemates completely believable as former student friends growing in different directions, and the weirdness, grounded in familiar situations, seems completely natural. I quickly learned I could trust the writers to land each embarrassing situation so I could relax and enjoy the ride. A couple of familiar faces are reassuring but don't distract from the main characters. And whoever chose the music had a LOT of fun - the soundtrack is excellent. After the first run through I missed its company, so I watched it again.
We are rehoming a cat tomorrow, I'm sorely tempted to change his name. At least I'll get him a laser pointer.

When Tim Kring's HEROES first appeared in 2007 -- about humans born with odd abilities -- it was a cultural milestone. Even late-night talk show hosts could not resist praising the series. That was then, this is now. Now shows about people with "powers" abound. This Disney UK release approaches the topic from the viewpoint of "coming of age," with notes of empathy, deadpan British humor, and overall sweetness. Good casting, good acting, and good scripts generally deliver the goods. Not an action series, not an adventure series, no werewolves or witches. Just people. Recommended. I must admit, when Disney+ first recommended this to me I expected it to be an American show aimed at teens, and I immediately wrote it off. Thank goodness my curiosity later prevailed!
Set in the UK, Extraordinary is centred around a group of 25 year olds in a world where everyone has powers... except Jen.
Much the same energy as Sex Education and Derry Girls, it shows (mostly) real life situations, turned up a notch thanks to shape-shifting, super strength, teleportation, and flight.
Each episode is around 30 mins and has a mid-credit scene. Great casting, writing, and relatable storylines make this a must watch for any fan of British comedy/drama.
Relieved to see it has already been confirmed for a second season.

- TriviaThe series has a reoccurring musical cue which is not an original composition for the show, but is actually a remixed instrumental of the song "Pepper" by the Butthole Surfers. The song is about societal criticism when being viewed by others and brushes with death. This ties back to the lead character Jen who is looked down upon for not having super powers and is told how they are going to die in the first episode.
- ErroresJizzlord is a male shape shifter, but when in cat form he presents as a black tortoiseshell. While male tortoiseshell cats can exist, they are rare (about 1 in 3,000 cats).
