Fault Lines

This was the best episode of snowfall yet, just wow. The direction and cinematography were exquisite, the angles and shots amazing.

The gloves are off and everything you thought it might have ended with was wonderfully subverted in the final act.

Great performances from all and the music brought it all together, especially the credits.

The best episode of the series by far. Franklin has come a long way. What goes up must come down and his fall on this episode was definitely a spiral. I love how so many things were set into motion with this episode. I don't want to include any spoilers, but, WOW!!

This was the most action packed and most intense episode of the season if not the entire series but it came a little too late after so many filler episodes where nothing happened.

The entire 5th season felt off and different from the first 4 seasons and we had too many filler episodes. Now they are trying to make up for lack of action in the 5th season by packing all action into one episode, rushing things and pushing things too hard all at once.

Unfortunately one good episode won't save a bad season though. We've had too many bad episodes during this season and I don't buy the argument that they were just trying to create a build up that would culminate in the last episode. Everything that happened between 2nd and 9th episodes of the 5th season contributed nothing to the story and this last minute effort impressed many people but it was too little too late.
