Spermageddon

When I went in to see the film I had an expectation that it was an animated film made for adults. But when I sat in the cinema surrounded by preteens and children I found the film incredibly tasteless, both in terms of language and not least the visual aspects. I don't think a single opportunity has been missed to use all kinds of slang and metaphors to describe all sexual and biological sexual drives. Many sexual positions, pornographic references are both shown and told and where you can see these if you have any doubts.

In my opinion this is NOT a children's film.

That said, it is not a film for adults either. There is not enough real plot in the film and the language is not intellectual enough to create real humour.

I feel this film is a forced attempt to be humorous. Nothing else. So if you really want to see it, please don't waste your money on a movie ticket and support more of this kind of misery. Of course, this is just my opinion.

First I want to say that I do not want to have intercourse with a man ever again after watching this. Overstimulating, nauseating, full of misinformation and actually traumatising. It's very clear this was made by men even though it seems they tried to show both point of views. Also the amount of misinformation is really bad when considering the fact that the age rating is 12 years old. Probably not safe to show preteens that are curious about this topic this movie because of the misinformation. I laughed and cringed through the entire experience of watching this trainwreck of a movie. The characters are also not very thought through and become repetitive and sometimes very boring. The finale of the movie was insane. The movie also did not benefit from being a musical it in fact just made everything worse. Also the name makes no sense as spermageddon is literally just ejaculation which is nowhere near the end of the world. If you want to be educated about intercourse and other parts of puberty in an edgy and fun way watch big mouth not this. Big mouth does this in a way better way and also has a females writer/director to actually present accurate information about the female experience.

This was a mix between cartoon/comedy and coming of age musical. Found it very funny.

Just had to watch it on my streaming service.

Great mock up from other movies, hints to other characters in other movies. And all the funny names like Starspunk Coffee...hillarious!

Maybe not a Kids movie, but any youth can see this coming of age movie and have a great laugh.

Worth watching!

I remember seeing the poster for this Norwegian movie back in 2024 when it was just released, but I never got around to watching it back then. But as I had the opportunity to watch it here in 2025, of course I had to check it out.

Writers Geir Vegar Hoel, Jesper Sundnes and Tommy Wirkola put together an entertaining and funny storyline, which made it enjoyable to sit through. There are some genuinely funny moments and situations throughout the course of the movie.

There are some hilarious and memorable characters in the movie, and I especially liked the nod towards the "Olsen Banden" characters, that was just a stroke of genius.

With "Spermageddon" being an animated movie, then having a proper voice cast ensemble is alpha and omega, and luckily they did have a good cast ensemble to do the voice acting parts. Given my limited exposure to Norwegian cinema in general, then I wasn't familiar with any of the voices.

The CGI and art style in "Spermageddon" is nicely made and looks very colorful and vibrant.

"Spermageddon" is a rather entertaining CGI animated movie for a mature audience, and it is actually well-worth sitting down and spending 79 minutes on watching. I warmly recommend you to watch it, if you haven't already done so.

My rating of directors Rasmus A. Sivertsen and Tommy Wirkola's 2024 movie "Spermageddon" lands on a six out of ten stars.

I loves the storyline and all of those moment that made the crowd laugh. I don't get the reviews telling otherwise, you knew what you were in for in the first place. If you come in with a bad attitude towards these types of movies then you're not eligible to write a review that's negative in my opinion. This movie is for the open minded, and i LOVED it and laughed so much with my friends. Worth a watch, especially if you're hanging with the guys.

Concluded i for sure recommend this movie for someone who is looking for a good laugh and time with your friends. Voice acting and structure was really nice made as well.
