Very informative and offers great new ideas to try with your partner to enhance intimacy. I love that a lot of these topics are being explored publicly.
As someone who is normally not a fan of Paltrow and her Goop empire, I was obviously hesitant to watch this show. However, once I saw in the trailer that it was about sex positivity, body positivity and empowerment, I felt compelled to give it a go - and I'm glad I did!
After studying anatomy in university (along with an elective course in gender and sexuality) I was surprised to still learn quite a bit from the show. In a way, it was very similar to learning about psychology and the different therapy techniques that can be applied.
I also appreciated how they tried to break down the Judeo-Christrian paradigm of how Western society views sexuality and women. And although it made me feel angry when I reflected on my own shame and lack of education about my body growing up (as a result of this paradigm), I also felt excited that I got to learn more about myself through asking questions and by being informed on new avenues to explore sexuality.
I'm happy that shows like this are finally getting into the spotlight, as they're helping all types people reconnect with their bodies and redefine what sex is to them. I recommend giving it a go; I guarantee you'll learn a thing or two, which will inevitably help you and your partner/future partners out.

I don't understand why so many people gave this a 1. I think it's fantastic to have open dialogue about intimacy and to not make it taboo.
I only reserve my '10' ratings for oscar worthy shows or movies so that's why I gave it a 9.
Not sure why so many people think this thing should be private - it's a show about sex, and how to connect better with your partner thru physical intimacy, and helped with trained therapists.

What an interesting and informative series. We learned more about reconnecting watching this than the 1000's spent in counselling. I'd say the negative reviews are from therapist scared of losing their source of income..
This show is extremely well done. People love to hate on goop for no reason except they're not ready to hear the information they'redelivering. If you've never dabbled into spirituality this show can still be for you but it's easier if you're already familiar with certain aspects.
I would have loved to see a couple with two male identifying people, because especially the gay community is so riddled with oversexualization and fixation on genitals. This show could've helped the community even more with showing a different route to gay sex. I love that they had two lesbian couples and talked about same sex experiences. I was just missing representation where I feel it is needed the most. The gay men that still need healing from their shame, healing from being reduced to a penis or a hole or the plain emotionally abuse going on for short term sexual gratification.
Overall I really enjoyed this and I want more more more. I definetly learned a lot of new things and my perspectives have been shifted and in some aspects solidified.
