I can remember when my evaluation of an R rated movie revolved around seeing tit one. Well, that is what this movie has to offer. It comes in the first few minutes, with no assurance that it is provided by the actress in question. As nudity is the first caveat in the list on prime video, you would think there might be more. BUT NOOOOOOOO! Seriously, save yourself and reclaim the hour and a half of your life you would otherwise never get back.

With "Simp", Writer-Director Tremain Hayhoe manages to straddle the fence perfectly between "thinking person's film" and "entertaining white-knuckle thriller". This movie is dripping in gorgeously atmospheric cinematography, as well as bitingly funny social commentary. The characters are nuanced, surprisingly so for what one might assume is a simple genre exercise. Performances across the board are visceral, intense, and thought-provoking. This is not at all a standard "B movie" indie flick. Every element is well-executed, leaving the audience with an edge-of-your seat experience.

Literally sat down, saw so many red flags at the start of the movie, such as the terrible acting, terrible production, awful scripting, etc. Yet i trusted the process like the naive person I am, and got slapped in the face with that horrendous ending. Where the actual bonkers was the plot?? There was no plot so obviously there was no ending. Terrible piece, i cant even call it a 'movie'. This should be in the 'comedy' category because all I did was laugh at the stupidity in this movie. Do not watch this movie. Trust me, dont trust the manipulation of this movie's only good trait being its quality. 1/10 stars and thats being brutally kind.

One of the worst things I've ever seen EVER, and I've seen a soldier get beheaded. This piece of garbage was absolutely one of the most horrendous, disorganized, incompetent, delusions of grander wannabe efforts I've ever seen from a film. Bad story, bad dialogue, bad acting. I suggest everybody save themselves a lot of time and frustration and don't even give this movie or it's director or entire studio any of your time attention, That would be like giving scraps of food to mice: It's just gonna encourage them. Why not spend your time on an actual worthwhile piece of art. Like Robert Edgar's Nosferatu.

A model is invited to a photo shoot only to be kidnapped, While her captors are weighing up their options she is left in an isolated cabin with one of them for company. She and her captor strike up a conversation and cat-and-mouse game commences.

I wasn't expecting much but this is even worse than expected. The plot is monumentally stupid: guys kidnap a model but, for a gang that's done this heaps of times before and should have a routine and plan, they are incredibly clueless what to do next. Then they leave her with one dude who proceeds to knowingly give her heaps of opportunities to escape, or even kill him, none of which she takes.

The middle section, the part where she's left with the one guy, had the potential to be quite enthralling as she manipulates him but any thoughts of a serious psychological drama are dashed by all the aforementioned stupidity. There's no tension, just dumb, highly improbable decisions and plot developments.

On top of all this, it's incredibly dull. For a Z-grade film there's none of the usual violence and titillations you'd expect. I have no idea how this got an R rating - it's at most an M.
