Ennalum Ente Aliya

Positive, one of the best performances of Lena and Siddique. Their chemistry is what keeps the movie in place and worth watching for. I wouldnt say it is a great movie with fantastic direction and screenplay, there are quite unwanted scenes and lag at times. But it was quite relaxing to watch this amidst of current dark themed movies running. It is definitely a OTT movie, you will enjoy watching with family. If the crew had given a bit focus on soundplay would have beem great. Could not hear some dialogues amidst songs at the end. Special kudos to Lena for a magnificent performance. From enn ninte moideen to this she delivered two north Kerala muslim characters but are every different in personality, that is quite something!

A superb Malayalam comedy entertainer. I really enjoyed with my family, and it made our mood cheerful (I watched twice - honestly😊). A cool and simple story. Hats off to the people behind this movie, especially director (and writer) Mr. Bash & writer Mr. Sreekumaran.

With no expectation I started watching this movie. Initially, slight lagging was feeling here and there (but certainly you will not feel bored!). Characters of Siddique & Lena were rocking throughout!

Along with fun, it also throws light on the anxiety of parents in modern era.

I spotted a small technical glitch - the last dialogues are not audible due to the background music at the scene where Suraj, Lena & Gayathri are present.

However overall, it's an awesome comedy movie!

When such a fun movie with so much laughs and ironic moments is not getting the attention it deserves, it needs to be propelled by word of mouth.

The laughs are great, unexpected and really funny. The parts inbetween are a let down, but the performances of Siddiqui, Lena and Suraj is top notch. Even the other actors have done their part well. The songs are a bore and so are the scenes where it is trying to be preachy. But it is definitely worth a one time watch.

Movies like these are meant for the OTT platform and hope the makers got their due. Now this is not a great film in a y aspect. But if you want to have a fun filled couple of hours, it's worth jt.

Ennalum Ente Aliya was 'not' a bad movie at all! We had a good share of laughter and giggles; the problem just came from the storytelling being quite stagnant.

DELICIOUS

-Lena stood out from the crowd😃 She was the typical mother filled with insecurities about her only daughter, constantly thinking about who she was talking to, who she was going to marry, where she should go and at what time😆

-The film nicely illustrated three types of couples we see nowadays: the old & conservative, the contemporary & busy, and the young & liberal.

It showed how they can live harmoniously and be fulfilled by not focusing on what others think.

-Bash Mohammed, the director, gave us a comprehensive knowledge of each character.

We were warmly welcomed into each family's house. We knew who was who

BLAND

-A major part of the film takes place in Balu's apartment with Sulu & her husband confronting Balu and his wife over allegations.

Literally, the argument just went back and forth, back and forth, back and forth with the plot not progressing at all.

If not for the comic lines and Sulu's funny mannerisms, it would have been very tempting to stop watching

-Such a disappointment that it was only around 99 minutes into the movie that the story started rolling and bringing new developments😔

Ennalum Ente Aliya is yet another fun filled comedy film from Malayalam. It has solid performances from the awesome Lena and Siddique. They have a great cast around them, and it feels like everyone enjoyed themselves with it showing through in their performances. This is a nicely done film that took a simple concept and did a lot with it. Simple movie with simple events in limited locations. The characters are interesting and funny, and how the story connecting all them together is good.

I'm watching it again to enjoy the performances of Lena and Siddique. Somebody should make a good comedy with them. Give them more comedy roles. Lovely performances.
