It sounds fascinating on the face of it. A bent cop creaming off money from the brothel business his sister runs with interventions from their drug-addicted brother which lead to mishaps and disasters.
However, although there was nothing wrong with it that I could put my finger on, it just didn't reel me in. I watched two episodes and decided to give up. There was just a bit too much exaggeration and too many coincidences such as when Elvira was being chased from the missing girl's house after finding her stash of ill-earned cash. Are we meant to believe that the venal people living there hadn't gone through the room already with a fine toothcomb? And that the girl's client just happened to turn up to the rescue? The Swedish criminals visiting the cop's home was a step too far too.
I just knew I wouldn't get into this so I stopped. I actually gave it more time than most series I'm unsure about - others have had the heave-ho after one episode. Hence the four stars.
