You'd think in between seasons, the writers and producers would read the critics comments and make some much needed adjustments, but instead, we get the same lame cat and mouse game writing. In this one hour season premier, nothing new happens; it's the same old walk a little further, encounter the same elements and conflicts, add some new scenery in between, and the same cheesy logic and dialogue we've seen throughout the last season. Clearly any creative juices have evaporated and fell through the La Brea hole. Even the set pieces look cheaper than they did last season, or I'm just getting tired of seeing the same cheaply assembled sets. The chemistry between all the actors has even become more of a soap opera cringe and laughable variety, especially their dialogue. I also feel the directing has lapsed in quality, because it also seemed the actors were just filling in the runtime walking over here, then over there, then back here. It's all a bunch of nonsense, and I've lost any interest in caring what happens next. I'm guessing this will be the final season, unless the network needs a bigger write-off.
I hoped the second season would fix the naked idiocy of the first season. Nope. It's at least as bad, if not worse than before. Aside from the local wildlife being native to the other side of the planet, the plot holes make Swiss cheese seem solid and bubble free. Wild gaps in logic that even the dumbest characters should stumble upon if only by accident but, no, they fall into the logic sinkholes too. How can so many people act so recklessly? Like LOST, every episode creates more questions and answer none. It's very frustrating because every new thing that pops up screams WHY? Can we not make SOME sense first? Alas, this series is hopeless. It's only redeeming value is to mock it mercilessly. Too bad, though, it was a cool concept. It's just so shabbily executed.

- ErroresWoolly rhinos were herbivores that lived during the Pleistocene epoch, which lasted from about 2,580,000 to 11,700 years ago (9700 BC). Their territory was northern Eurasia, spanning most of Europe, the Russian Plain, Siberia, and the Mongolian Plateau. Even if some arrived in North America, this was probably uncommon. If any lived in the Los Angeles area, they would undoubtedly have been discovered at La Brea Tar Pits.

Josh Harris: This is literally the best thing I've ever seen. I mean, why aren't there more shows like this?
Riley Velez: Why aren't there more shows about talking puppets that are supposed to be aliens?
