Woolly rhinos were herbivores that lived during the Pleistocene epoch, which lasted from about 2,580,000 to 11,700 years ago (9700 BC). Their territory was northern Eurasia, spanning most of Europe, the Russian Plain, Siberia, and the Mongolian Plateau. Even if some arrived in North America, this was probably uncommon. If any lived in the Los Angeles area, they would undoubtedly have been discovered at La Brea Tar Pits.
When Gavin begins hunting, a grid-like metal fence is briefly visible in the bottom right of frame.
